Where and what is this "Caloosa" neighborhood I keep hearing about in Palm Beach Gardens?

Caloosa is roughly1,800 acres just west of Palm Beach Gardens is comprised of 350 5 acre parcels, of which, at the latest count, there are just over 300 homes having been built since the early 80's.  Currently one of the largest draws of Caloosa is the 32 acre central park which has 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, kids play area with slides and swings, meeting facility, both indoor and screened, restrooms AND for the equestrians, 2 riding rings, a cross country course and a hunter jumper course too!  Amazed yet? Well there is more! Behind the homes is a massive canal system that drains any water that heads into Caloosa out to the C-18 canal that is about 10-14' below our water line!

Folks call us a hidden gem, we are!  But not for long as we are being noticed by more and more people, both equestrian and others that would like to enjoy privacy amid trees.

Other than the fact it's the end of nowhere i showed a nice property weekend before last. It had to be the steal of the lifetime.

haha... well 25 min to the beach, 10 min to publix, 15 min to gardens shopping, 20 min to gardens mall and most importantly about 16 minutes to Home Depot!

Thanks Winston.. I enjoy reading your posts!
